As part of their science and PSHE work, Year 5 and 6 were visited by Betty Bus, which is an immersive session encouraging open and honest conversations about periods. The trained facilitators help girls to explore how periods can affect them, and teach boys about what girls go through each month. The children were very well behaved and participated extremely well in the sessions.

Aspen Class has been researching food chains that would exist in our studied biome of grasslands. From Sumatran Tigers to Bison, which part of the biome is a producer? What consumes the producer? What preys on the consumers? It’s all part of the circle of life 🙂
Rowan class have started their new topic, Light, by looking at how light travels and how shadows are formed. They carried out an experiment to understand how shadows change depending on the position of the Sun.
