We looked at maps of London to find the houses of parliament and where Guy Fawkes tried to carry out the gunpowder plot. We compared the features of the London maps to Newquay and Woodall farm using geographical language.
First we used oil and cinnamon to fake dirty our hands.
After trying cold water, cold water and soap and warm water and soap, we learnt that warm water and soap is the best to wash off germs (called bacteria.
We were given a passport that we could stamp (if the lines weren’t too long). Then had photo which looked as if we were flying on Nimbus (Harry’s quidditch broom stick). One of favourite bits was when the dragon appeared at the back of a destroyed Gringotts Wizarding Bank! We got such a fright we ran screaming 🙂
