A great day of abseiling, archery and more canoeing! The kids are having a blast in the sunshine 🙂 They are definitely ready for a weekend of sleep!
Brockswood have been reaping the benefits of walking. Not only have we got on the walking bus we had lunch time walks and ate our lunches in the park as part of walk to school week. We also recorded how many children walked to school each day. Lets see if we can beat our number of walkers next year!
A big thank you to all the parent walkers who joined the walking bus….your support is much appreciated!
What fun we had splashing in the sea, relaxing in the sunshine and playing arcade games.
Another action packed day with canoeing and raft building on the lake! All topped off with a sing and Dance around the camp fire and toasted marshmallows.
A day of mission impossible (a team building activity working on cooperation, communication and consideration), archery and adventure trail fun. Evening consisted of a game of rounders or watching the first half Women’s football semi-finals and some good old British army style exercise. All tucked up and snoozing.
So we have survived day 1. Much fun abseiling, raft building/river swimming or canoeing/river swimming. All now tucked up in bed and fast asleep.
We have had a fun morning creating posters and powerpoint presentations to share our knowledge of how to keep our hearts healthy.
Brilliant effort Brockswood
25-0 in a friendly match and quarter finalists in tournament… Go girls !!!
Healthy Hearts Campaign.
We have had a busy week at Brockswood, the walking bus has been packed and the children, staff and parents have had fun walking and chatting each morning. We have decorated our shoes, timed our walks, dressed in red, searched for red items and met Buster the dinosaur!!!
Walking is a fabulous way to stay healthy and as we do not have 3 hearts like an octopus does !! Walking will help us look after the most important organ in our bodies.
