Acorns

This has been a bit rainy, but we have mangaged to go outside and not get too wet!

We have finished our story ‘surprising sharks’. The children have wrote some amazing facts about sharks that they have learnt through out the book. Next week we are starting our new story 'Handa's Surprise' by Eileen Browne. In maths we have be measuring, weighing and having fun with water finding out the capacity of different pots and jugs.

We began our art sessions with the artist Yayoi Kusama who is know for painting with dots. The children decorated a butterfly using the handle of a paintbrush, it took a lot of patience to fill the butterfly with dots! Next friday, we will have a class photo taken, it will be lovely to see the children all neatly dressed and smilling.
